This orientation is for First-Generation college students. You are a First-Generation college student if neither of your parents/legal guardians completed a bachelor’s degree, regardless of siblings and other relatives.

New Student Orientation is for any new student and required for first-time students coming directly from high school or who took time in between high school with no college credit.

We will help you enroll for classes, answer questions about Washburn, and prepare for your transition to college. Orientation is a free event with parking and refreshments provided. Family and supporters are encouraged to attend with student.
