Online New Student Orientation 6/16/26

New Student Orientation is for any new student, including those who are transferring or returning to Washburn University. This orientation is for students who currently live out-of-state or plan to complete a degree 100% online. Note: Only specific majors are offered 100% online at Washburn.

Join us to get ready for your first semester of college. We'll talk about technology for college, meeting other new Ichabods, and how Washburn supports you during your college experience. We will NOT be enrolling for classes during online orientation.

When you schedule an appointment to enroll for classes, it can be in-person, by phone, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. For Zoom or Microsoft Teams, we suggest using a computer or tablet for the online appointment. We'll pair you with an advisor based on your academic interest. It is REQUIRED to get your Washburn account and Duo activated before you schedule your enrollment appointment.
