Online New Student Orientation - Spring 2026

New Student Orientation is for any new student, including those who are transferring or returning to Washburn University. This orientation is for students who are doing an online program, students with dependents (children or are caregivers), or who live out-of-state and are unable to travel to campus for orientation.

Join us to get ready for your first semester of college. We'll talk about technology for college, meeting other new Ichabods, and how Washburn supports you during your college experience. We will NOT be enrolling for classes during online orientation.

When you schedule an appointment to enroll for classes, it can be in-person, by phone, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. For Zoom or Microsoft Teams, we suggest using a computer or tablet for the online appointment. We'll pair you with an advisor based on your academic interest.
