New Student Orientation 5/29/26 - Healthcare Majors

*This orientation is for students pursuing a healthcare-specific major or program in the Allied Health department of the School of Applied Studies, School of Nursing, Kinesiology, or a pre-health program in the College of Arts & Sciences.

**Students pursuing a Health Occupations program at Washburn Tech should attend a New Student Orientation at Washburn Tech.

New Student Orientation is for any new student starting at Washburn University. New Student Orientation is required for first-time students coming directly from high school, who took time in between high school with no college credit or and who are transferring less than 12 credits to Washburn.

We will help you enroll for classes, answer questions about Washburn, and prepare for your transition to college. Orientation is a free event with parking and refreshments provided. Family and supporters are encouraged to attend with student.
