New Student Orientation - Online

New Student Orientation is for any new student, including those who are transferring or returning to Washburn University. This orientation is for students with an online program, students with dependents, or who live out-of-state and are unable to travel to campus for orientation.

We'll reach out in early May to schedule enrollment appointments through phone or Microsoft Teams. For Microsoft Teams, we suggest using a computer or tablet for the online appointment. We'll pair you with an advisor based on your academic interest.

After getting you enrolled for classes, we'll host online check-ins every two weeks to help you get ready for your first semester of classes. This includes information about how to pay for college, meeting other new Ichabods, and how Washburn supports you during your college experience.
